Welcome to Enterprise Island, the company which specialises only in enterprise and entrepreneurship.

Created eighteen years ago by Iain Scott, the company was one of the very first in the UK to pioneer work in the enterprise and regeneration field.

The original concept - to undertake the research design and delivery of entrepreneurship programmes - has not changed.

We are a dedicated team of six and our work takes us across the UK.

To date over a thousand people have taken part in our unique programmes in areas as diverse as Banff and Buchan in the North East of Scotland via Bradford and Leeds in Yorkshire to Penazance and St ives in the South West.

We work in partnership with agencies such as One North East, Irvine Bay Urban Regeneration Company and Bradford, Leeds and Blackpool Councils, to help them unlock the enterprise potential of their area.

We design unique programmes which have created award winning entrepreneurs.

Our enterprise tracking team has collected invaluable data on how and why people start businesses and our Enterprise Island Challenge team consistently engage with over 70% of people who have never thought of starting a business before.
Our groundbreaking work in schools has helped to shape enterprise policy and our Enterprise Island Challenge is highlighted as best practice in many strategic frameworks.
